Each Rico River Hat in Hazy IPA is shaped, stained and painted by hand in Disco Swell’s Telluride hat studio. All leather sweatbands are sewn inside each hat in Telluride as well.  The straw hat bodies are handwoven in Guatemala and blocked (pre-sized) in Texas.

More Details

The River Hat is a "Tear Drop" style. The Tear Drop refers to the crown shape of the hat. This style features a classic fedora shape. The narrow pointed crease in the front gradually widens towards the back of the hat in the shape of a tear drop.

Each leather sweatband can be customized with customer’s initials, dates and mementos. Sentimental River Trip and Wedding dates have been the most popular for gold-foil sweatband customizations for the inside of the hat.

Each River Hat also includes a satin liner printed with Disco Swell’s groovy signature swirl print. Every single individual hat liner is sewn here in Telluride. All liners are sustainably produced and printed from a green manufacture based in London, UK.

The River Hat’s signature Auburn Hazy IPA color is created by a dye made in-house and hand-painted on the straw in Disco Swell’s Telluride hat studio.

Disco Swell sources it’s Guatemalan Palm hat bodies from Sunbody Hats, a premium supplier based in Texas.
