Each Rico River Hat is shaped by hand in Disco Swell’s Telluride hat studio. All leather sweatbands are sewn inside each hat in Telluride as well.  The straw hat bodies are handwoven in Guatemala and blocked (pre-sized) in Texas.

  • Satin hat liner with Disco Swell’s groovy signature swirl print.

More Details

The River Hat is a "Tear Drop" style. The Tear Drop refers to the crown shape of the hat. This style features a classic fedora shape. The narrow pointed crease in the front gradually widens towards the back of the hat in the shape of a tear drop.

Each leather sweatband can be customized with customer’s initials, dates and mementos. Sentimental River Trip and Wedding dates have been the most popular for gold-foil sweatband customizations for the inside of the hat.

Each River Hat also includes a satin liner printed with Disco Swell’s groovy signature swirl print. Every single individual hat liner is sewn here in Telluride. All liners are sustainably produced and printed from a green manufacture based in London, UK.
